Another year older is no trivial affair
So don't hide it away in such despair
You actually look quite debonair
for an old person.
Don't think of it as a year closer to death
Don't think of it as another wasted year
Think of yourself as a carton of milk:
past its sell-by date, but still good for a little longer.
Because this is your birthday, another year gone
And still you are there, just trundling along
So even though you live in a zoo,
you look like a monkey
and you smell like one two:
Happy Birthday to you.
