It’s your birthday, everyone cheers.
But you know the day will end in tears.
The birthday cake you made yourself is rather black.
The toddler cries as he just bumped his head.
The husband is frustrated, running late for work.
And a bit angry, you burnt his best shirt.
Romantic candle light dinner to celebrate you are thirty,
Fat chance, all the plates are already dirty.
Never mind, maybe the next birthday will be better,
One thing is for sure, eating all that cake by yourself, you will be fatter.
