Homemade Tradition

My birthday tradition is more of something I do for every family member's birthday. Each year I mark down all the birthdays on a calender and a few weeks before I get to work.

I create a personal one of a kind homemade card for each of them. These cards take me a week or so to make. I make sure they have something special about that person and usually something that has happened over the last year.

For my husband, I make the card and each year think of a new homemade special something I can make. Each year is something different, last year for example, was a tiny modelling clay figurine (a frog with a crown and banner that said Prince Charming).

I find something homemade is a great birthday tradition and comes straight from the heart!
