Holding back the years
by Marion Clarke
(Warrenpoint, Northern Ireland)
When you hit twenty
You've still got plenty
At the age of thirty
You can still be flirty
Forty's not so bad
when you are Jack the Lad
But beware - you can look shifty
On the dance floor after fifty!
But although the pains may start
At sixty, just take heart
That we will always love you
Even though you're an old fart.
