HAPPY 80TH BIRTHDAY TO OUR BEAUTIFUL MOM - MYRA DEAMICHES
by DONNA DEAMICHES
(GARDEN GROVE CA USA)
80 years ago today, the world became a better place -
It was then, you were born!!!
Today we celebrate you Mom, and to tell you that you are loved so very much, beyond any words that can be written.
You've traveled many roads during your lifetime. They have all been a part of your life and who you are. From the time you were a little girl growing up in England during the war, and having to be separated from your family (for your safety). You were blessed to have gone with a well to do couple who were able to give you things you wouldn't have had otherwise. Your memories of when you were a little girl will stay in your heart forever, as will mine. You found your true love when you met that very handsome young man, we know as DAD (ha). You were only 19 yrs old when you left your family in England to start a whole new life in America. When you became a Mom….
You found out quickly there was a lot to learn and fast. Not only did you learn how to be a Mom, but you became the best Mom ever. You’re not only an amazing Mom, but you’re an amazing woman, with such a kind heart. You’re always so kind and such a pleasure to be around. You always put us kids before your needs. You wanted to be sure we were always happy. Who couldn’t be? Growing up in a family like ours. We never went without…
You showed us how much you loved us in so many ways. We never had a care in the world. You never made us feel guilty about something we did or didn’t do. You let us be kids and do kid things, as long as we were home before those street lights came on. (haha) Whenever your name is mentioned, it’s always followed by what a sweetheart your Mom is or oh your Mom is wonderful. Yea, we did know that already, but it’s nice to hear. The people who know you , love you, and with good reason.
We could never repay you for all that you’ve done for us through the years. We wouldn’t live that long. There are way too many reasons to list why we love you so much. You were always there through our tears and
our loves too. We saw it in your eyes, when we hurt, you hurt. When we were happy, you were happy. You did whatever it took to see that life was easy for us and to not have to struggle through our lives. You kept us worry free as long as you were able. But as we grew older….
So did our love and appreciation for you grow. Realizing just how wonderful a person you are not only to us but to everyone that is important in your life. Through all those years of great memories you hold dearest to your heart, you also had to feel the pain of losing your soul mate, your life time partner but as you've always known, he adored you and loved you very much and I think that's what helped you over come your grief. I'm sure your memories with Dad will be in your heart always.
A short time later you also had to endure the pain of the worst kind. You as a mother, had to let your son go, and us as his brother and sister had to also let him go. Though it was the hardest thing we ever had to do, we got through it together as a family. We’ll never get over it, but we got through it. If I could take away that pain from your heart I would, But then it would mean that Dana never lived. We will always have our memories and we will love him forever.
So as time passes and we make new memories, and store old ones in our heart, we come to a new time in our lives when we appreciate every day we are given.
We are so blessed to be celebrating you and your 80th birthday today. And you have been blessed with 3 children who adore you and love you more than you could ever imagine.
With your son and daughter comes even another blessing in your life…….
Brian and Sandy.
You are just as important to them as you are to us. And even again, along with Brian, comes your grandchildren, Briana, Sandi and Brent. And then yet again, with Briana, comes your great grandchildren, Emily, Maddie, Cooper and Luke. So Mom there are many who love you and wish you a very Happy Birthday!!!!
We all love you with all our hearts -
Your children
