I'm on a roll. Raving Dave has recorded a free happy birthday song for us. Raving Dave can sing it in a very silly high voice. Or my personal favourite is the low low version. Both complete with funny facial expressions!

So if you typed its my birthday today, and landed on this page, click below to hear Raving Dave sing a funny happy birthday song especially for you.

If you thought that was funny, watch the second of Raving Dave's funny birthday songs below. (You might need to get some ear plugs for this one!)

Birthday Ideas Fact Did you know the original lyrics for the song went like this?

Good morning to you
Good morning to you
Good morning, dear children
Good morning to all.

The melody was written in 1893 by two school teachers. It wasn't until 1924 that the traditional lyrics as we know them today were first published.

It was another 10 years until the sisters were given copyright laws to the song. Meaning that anytime the song was used in a performance, such as radio, TV or a large gathering, the sisters received a revenue.

In 1998 the rights to the song were brought by Warner for a reported 25 million dollars! The song today generates around $2 million per year in royalties – wow wish I'd written it!

This is the most popular song in the English language, follwed by Auld Lang Syne and For He's A Jolly Good Fellow. The song has been translated into at least 18 other languages.
