I would have liked a hot air balloon trip, still would. My Grandson had a drive in a Ferrari for his 21st last year and thoroughly enjoyed the whole day, so how about something a little different like that for an unusual 50th birthday gift?

On my 50th, an enormous basket of flowers was delivered to me at work from hubby. The day went happily with the obligatory office cream cakes. In the evening I was taken out for a meal with the family (one son's pressie), and then to my embarrassment, a cake was brought out as the waiters sang Happy Birthday.
